Rabbi Class
Beth El Ba’al Tefillah Institute
Rabbi Lipton offers classes that provide adult learners with practical synagogue skills. The Institute’s initial class will be Weekday Shacharit – How to Lead the Weekday Morning Service. This weekly, 30-minute class begins @ 8:15 AM, immediately after Wednesday morning Minyan. Rabbi Lipton will incrementally guide adult students through the traditional liturgy and nusach (musical chanting) of Weekday Shacharit with the support of printed and recorded materials.
Beth El Lehrhaus
A weekly exploration of an array of traditional and contemporary texts, as well as a variety of issues relating to living intentionally Jewish lives in the 21st century. Our first Lehrhaus course will be a weekly text/discussion class entitled It’s a Mitzvah – Contemporary Encounters with the Mitzvot. How many of the Torah’s 613 Mitzvot do you engage with on a regular basis, and how do they inform your lives? Join in the ongoing weekly interactive one-hour conversation beginning Tuesday, February 15 @ 7:00 PM.
